Toritha Cooper Minggia

TORITHA COOPER MINGGIA was born to Lewis Thomas Cooper, Sr. and Jean Davis Cooper on August 8, 1974, in Warren County, North Carolina. She transitioned from this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.

 During her early life, Toritha became a member of the Ashley Chapel Baptist Church in Vaughan, North Carolina. Her formal education was obtained in the Warren County Public School System, and she graduated from Warren County High School in Warrenton, North Carolina.  She then became employed at numerous jobs including the Prison System, Day Care, Home Health Care, and Bus Driver for the Warren County School System.

Toritha enjoyed cooking, working with children, and had a great love for decorating.

Those loved ones remaining to forever cherish the precious memories of her life and love are her parents, Lewis and Jean Cooper of the home; three children, Tameka Cooper of Littleton, NC, Taheshia Minggia of Durham, NC, and Dominique Minggia of Raleigh, NC; one brother, Lewis T. Cooper, Jr. of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two nephews, Raheim and Ryan Cooper of Vaughan, NC; one niece, Anicia Cooper of Vaughan, NC; her great-uncle, Lonnie Harrison (Ethel)  of Embro, NC;  her great-aunt, Annie Roberson of Grove Hill, NC; her close cousins, Antonio Davis and Willie Conell Cooper; and a host of uncles, aunts, other relatives, and friends, including a very special friend, Tracy Haywood.

 A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 1, 2020, in the chapel of the funeral home, 215 US Highway 158, Littleton, NC.  Rev. Milton L. Jones will deliver the eulogy, and the burial will follow in the Greater Ashley Chapel Missionary Baptist  Church Cemetery in Vaughan, NC. Only fifty persons will be  allowed to attend. Because of Covid-19, all CDC guidelines will be followed by the wearing of masks, social distancing, and limiting the number of persons in attendance.
 A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Only five persons will be allowed to enter at any one time.
