Theau Arthur Danielle Jefferson, Jr.

THEAU ARTHUR DANIELLE JEFFERSON, JR. was born to Lorraine Jefferson and the late Theau Arthur Jones on December 11, 1982, in Nash County, North Carolina. He departed this earthly life of Monday, April 20, 2020.

During his early life, he was baptized and joined the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Littleton, North Carolina. His formal education was received in the Halifax County Public School System.

Theau Arthur, was affectionately known as “Junior” and “Romie”. He loved cutting grass, washing cars, racing his four wheeler, and spending time with his three children and three stepbrothers.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lucy Marie Jefferson and Claude Jefferson; and his paternal grandparents, Ezekiel and Virginia Jones.

Those left to forever cherish his precious memories are his beloved mother, Lorraine Jefferson and his stepdad, James C. Alston of Littleton, NC;  his high school sweetheart, Tina Turner, and their children, Ja’Kaylah Jefferson and Ja’Quan Jefferson of the home; his daughter, Ja’Niya Jefferson of Warrenton, NC; his three stepbrothers, Jamie Alston of Rocky Mount, NC, and Daniel Alston and Daryl Alston of Littleton, NC; eleven aunts, Janie Faulcon (James) and Linda Fields (Ivery) all of Emporia, VA,  Donna Mason (Jerry), Edith Taylor (Robert),  Merdis Robinson (Henry), Jeannette Lee, Susie Jefferson (Thomas), and Bobbie Burchette (Thurman) all of Littleton, NC,  Daisy Alston (Elvis) and Penelope Jones all of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and Annette Jefferson of Jamaica; one uncle, Louis Kent Jones of the Philippines; a very special friend and grandmother-in-law, Sara Turner of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 127 Rock House Road, Littleton, NC. Min. Geno Mitchell will deliver the eulogy. Because of Covid 19, the CDC guidelines will be followed for all services by limiting the number of persons in attendance. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 25, 2020, from 12:00 Noon – 5:00 P.M. and only five persons will be allowed to enter at any one time.
