MYLUE FLEMING, daughter of the late Ben Fleming and Susie Ann Watson Fleming, was born on March 11, 1943, in Halifax County, North Carolina. She departed this earthly life and entered the Heavenly realm on Friday, March 16, 2018, at her home in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
During her early life, she professed Jesus Christ, was baptized, and became a member of the South Street Baptist Church in Littleton, North Carolina. Her formal education was received in the Halifax County Public School System, and she graduated from the former McIver High School in Littleton, North Carolina, with the class of 1962.
Mylue was a fun-loving person who showed love to everyone she met. She truly loved her family and would do anything for them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Nathaniel Fleming, Jasper Watson, and Ben O. Fleming; and her sister, Autry May.
Those left to forever cherish her precious memory and share the legacy of her love are her daughter, Adrienne Fleming (Anthony) of Battleboro, NC; her son, Grant Fleming of the home; one granddaughter, Erica Richardson of Battleboro, NC; two grandsons, Tyler Richardson of Rocky Mount, NC, and Anthony Richardson of Greensboro, NC; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Portia Tabron (Deet) of Littleton, NC; two brothers, Glen Fleming of the home, and Henry Fleming (Betty) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; one niece, Jasmine Demming of Roanoke Rapids, NC; one nephew, Joe Fleming of East Orange, NJ; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, 215 US 158, Littleton, NC. Rev. Milton R. Solomon, Jr. will officiate, and burial will follow in the Robinson Cemetery in Littleton. The body will repose at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 12:00 Noon – 8:30 P.M.
