MONICA BULLOCK CAMPBELL was born to the late Matthew “Pete” Bullock, Sr. and Bevelyn M. Bullock on September 30, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. The Lord called her home to eternal rest on Monday, September 10, 2018, at her home in Littleton, North Carolina.
Monica received her elementary education in Baltimore, Maryland, and graduated from Northwest Halifax High School in Littleton, North Carolina, with the class of 1981.
In 1989, Monica was united in Holy Matrimony to “The love of her life”, Joseph “Cookie” Alexander Campbell.
Monica loved listening to “Oldies but Goodies” music and watching her favorite television shows. She adored children, loved receiving their photos as they grew through life, and was fascinated with her youngest nephew, Dominique, who she always talked about with a broad smile on her face. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished by her family and friends.
Those remaining to treasure her loving memory are her devoted, caring husband, Joseph Campbell; two brothers, her dedicated twin, Matthew Bullock, Jr. (Mikisha) of Hollister, NC, and Thomas C. Bullock of Littleton, NC; her niece, Moraina Bullock of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her nephews, Dominique Bullock and Demetrics Lynch of Hollister, NC; three aunts, Christine V. Smith of Baltimore, MD, Arnetta L. Brady of Newport News, VA, and Brenda Barnes of Richmond, VA; two uncles, Larry and Robert Barnes of Rocky Mount, NC; her grandmother, Nannie Barnes of Rocky Mount, NC; five sisters-in-law, JoAnn, Tammy, Pamela, and Renee Campbell, and Margaret Green all of Baltimore, MD; two brothers-in-law, Michael and J. C. Campbell of Baltimore, MD; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 21, 2018, in the chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Dr. C. E. McCollum will officiate.
