img048LINK JUNIOR “DILLY” STANSBURY was born on November 19, 1945, in Halifax County, North Carolina, the son of the late Leslie Stansbury and Mary Alston Stansbury. He transitioned from this earthly life to his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

During his early life, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, was baptized, and became a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Littleton, North Carolina. In later years, he joined the Ivory Hill Baptist Church in Enfield, North Carolina.

His formal education was received in the Halifax County Public School System. He became employed as a machine operator at the former J. P. Stevens and Company of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, and remained loyal and dedicated to this occupation for thirty years.
