CHARLES LEE JOHNSON, son of the late Horace Johnson and Rebecca Neville Johnson, was born on January 6, 1947, in Enfield, North Carolina. After a lengthy battle with illness, God quietly called him to eternal rest and peace on Monday, November 18, 2019, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Charles received his formal education in the Halifax County Public School System and graduated from the former Eastman High School in Enfield, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, Charles will be reunited with his siblings, George, Sherman, Jessie, Johnny, and Tina; and a host of other loved ones in Heaven.
Those remaining, not to mourn, but to cherish the precious memory of his life and love are his children, Charles D.
