STANLEY LEVI HILL was born to the late Jeremiah Hill and Hattie Davis Hill on October 9, 1952, In Warren County, North Carolina. He answered God’s call to eternal rest and peace on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Transitions Life Care in Raleigh, North Carolina.
During his early life, he sought spiritual guidance and joined the Pleasant Zion Baptist Church in Littleton, North Carolina. His formal education was received in the Warren County Public School System.
Stanley was employed with the Lambert Logging Company of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. He enjoyed fishing and socializing with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward “Pig” Hill and Calvin Hill.
Those left with treasured memories to remain in their hearts are his niece, Angela Scott of Littleton, NC; two great-nieces, Candice Scott and Kiara Scott, two great-nephews, James Scott and Marquese Scott; two great-great-nieces, Marqutia Scott and Kalani Young; his godson, Jacques Jefferson; other relatives and friends, including his special friends, Donna Mae Mason, Tonya Jefferson, Jackie Wood, Joe Jefferson, and Wayne Jefferson;
Funeral rites will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home in Littleton, NC. Rev. Clinton Boyd, Pastor of Pleasant Zion Baptist Church, will eulogize, and burial will follow in the Hill Family Cemetery in Littleton, NC. The body will repose at the funeral home on Monday, February 26, 2018, from 12:00 Noon – 8:30 P.M.
