She worked on the farm, in the garden, and was also employed in the domestic and babysitting industries.
For the past eighteen years, Rosa lived with her niece, Annie B. Alston in Littleton, North Carolina. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and sermons on the television and the radio (WARR).
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Queenie “Pinky” Carter; her son, Paul Carter, and all of her nine siblings, Angie C. Dixon, Charlie, Paul, George, and Queenie Carter, Lizzie C. Harrington, Hattie C. Garner, Ethel C. Coppage, and Fannie C. Powell.
Those remaining to forever share the precious memories of her life are her daughter, Angieline Carter; her niece, Annie B. Alston of the home; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
