Pearline Harvey Ward

PEARLINE HARVEY WARD was born to the late Albert Harvey and Pauline Bunn Harvey on October 20, 1949, in Halifax County, North Carolina. She transitioned from this earthly life and entered her Heavenly home on Saturday evening, September 7, 2019, at Maria Parham Hospital in Henderson, North Carolina.

During her early life, she professed faith in Jesus Christ, was baptized, and became a member of the Bear Swamp Baptist Church in Littleton, North Carolina. Her formal education was received in the Halifax County Public School System.

Pearline worked in the farming industry and also took care of her mother. She was an exceptional cook for her family, and they enjoyed the delicious meals she prepared. When declining health prevailed, she became a resident of Enfield Oaks Nursing Home in Enfield, North Carolina, for twenty-seven years. She spent her last twenty-one days at Warren Hills Nursing Center in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Pearline truly appreciated the love, care, and close family endearment shown to her by her nieces, Belinda P. Williams and Gearline Watson. They brought happiness to her life, and she looked forward to their uplifting visits.

In addition to her parents, Pearline is now rejoicing to be together again with her siblings also, Louise, Willie Mae, Elmira, Josephine, James Palmer, Joe, Albert, and William.

Those remaining to forever treasure the precious memory of her life are three sisters-in-law, Nisha Harvey, Elizabeth Harvey, and Maggie Ree Harvey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
