MAINER WILLS MILAM, a longtime resident of Littleton, North Carolina, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at her home. She was born to the late Richard Allen Wills and Roxie Kearney Wills on November 19, 1931, in Halifax County, North Carolina.
Mainer was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church in Enfield, North Carolina, and a dedicated supporter of the Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Littleton, North Carolina.
Mainer’s formal education was received in the Halifax County Public School System, and she graduated from the former McIver High School in Littleton, North Carolina. She frequented the Senior Center in Littleton and was affectionately called “M&M”. She enjoyed helping others, cooking, sewing, gardening, spending time with family and friends, and continued these innovative missions until her health began to decline.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Samuel and Robert Wills; and her sisters, Deborah W. Hagan, Doretha W. Robinson, Anmariah W. Johnston.
